of recording fast motion subjects at up to 480fps

Twin Zoom Controls
As well as the usual top zoom control there is also a zoom control lever in a
more natural position on the side of the lens, you can adjust zoom with your
left hand while the index finger of your right hand rests on the shutter button,
ready to take the shot and choose from three zoom speeds or use “auto back zoom”
for long zoom photography.

crisp, clear electronic viewfinder. In addition to en-hanced visibility in
bright daylight, the bright EVF accommodates a traditional shooting style,
making it easy to steady the camera, even when shooting with the 46x zoom fully
extended.
The large 3.0 inch LCD screen makes it ever so easy to compose and view your
photos. Try using the Micro thumbnail View in playback, it will help you quickly

Panoramic Shooting Mode
Lets you take panorama photos as simply as 1, 2, 3!
The camera automatically stitches together three consecutive shots, with simple
in-frame guidance to ensure the images are aligned. The resulting image is saved
to the memory card as an impressive panorama.
Advanced 3D Photography
Two exposures of the same scene are saved in Multi-Picture Format (MPO) to
create convincing images that appear to have been shot in real 3D. An
overlapping guide on the LCD screen provides assistance for positioning the
exposures, making it easy for anyone to create impressive 3D effects. And
FUJIFILM's proprietary high-resolution 3D print system produces natural,
beautiful 3D prints from images captured with the FinePix S8500.
Full 1080p HD Movies & One Touch Record Button
Movie scene recognition ensures that settings are optimized
according to your subject. Full HD Movie shares your memories with family on the
big screen, using the mini HDMI connector.
